Salat on Time is designed with privacy at its core. The app is 100% offline-first. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device.
2. Information We Do Not Collect

- We do not require account creation or registration
- We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers
- We do not track your activity or behavior
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
- We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties

3. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
- Prayer records: Your prayer completion history, streaks, and badge progress
- App preferences: Your chosen prayer calculation method, notification settings, grace period, and other configuration
- App blocking settings: The list of apps you have selected to be blocked during prayer times
- Cached prayer times: Prayer time data cached locally for offline use
4. Location Data
Salat on Time uses your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. Location data is:
- Processed entirely on your device
- Used only to determine prayer times
- Never transmitted to any server
- Never stored beyond what is needed for prayer time calculation
You can manage location permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
5. Screen Time & App Blocking
The app uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to block selected apps during prayer times. This integration:
- Is managed entirely by Apple's system frameworks
- Does not give us access to your app usage data
- Does not transmit any information about blocked apps to us
- Operates under Apple's strict privacy controls
6. Apple Watch
If you use the Apple Watch companion feature for prayer detection, motion sensor data is processed locally on the watch and is never collected or transmitted externally.
7. Notifications
Prayer time notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
8. Subscriptions & Payments
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how Apple handles payment data.
9. Children's Privacy
Salat on Time does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
